Six stages. No surprises.
A bespoke piece takes weeks, and the worst part of most projects is not knowing what is happening during them. Here is exactly what we do, when, and what you have to do.
The six stages
-
01
Conversation
Tell us what the room has to do.
It starts with a message, a call or a filled-in quote request. We ask what you are trying to solve, what you already own, and what the space is really used for. No drawings yet — just the brief.
-
02
Survey
We measure it ourselves.
We visit the site and take our own dimensions — walls, ceilings, service positions, the fall on the floor, the swing of every door. Every later problem we avoid is avoided here.
-
03
Design & quotation
Drawings, samples, a fixed number.
You receive scaled elevations, a material and finish specification, and an itemised quotation you can actually read. We revise it with you until the drawing matches what is in your head.
-
04
Workshop
Cut, edged, assembled, checked.
Once you approve the drawings and the deposit is settled, the job goes to the workshop floor. Panels are cut to the millimetre, edged, dry-assembled and inspected before anything is loaded.
-
05
Installation
Fitted, scribed, levelled, cleaned.
Our own fitters install. Nothing is subcontracted. We scribe to your walls, level every run, connect what needs connecting, and leave the room clean.
-
06
Sign-off
We walk it with you.
We go through the finished work together and note anything that needs adjusting. Doors settle in the first weeks — a free adjustment visit is included in the first year.
Your part
What helps us move faster.
None of this is compulsory. Every item you can supply at the start removes a day or two from the middle.
- Photographs of the room — wide shots from two corners tell us more than a tape measure would
- Rough dimensions — even approximate ones let us sanity-check the budget before we visit
- Appliance and sanitaryware models — model numbers, not descriptions, so the cabinetry is drawn around real cut-outs
- Reference images — anything you have saved, including the ones you do not like and why
- Architect or contractor drawings — if the building work is ongoing, send the latest set
- An honest budget range — so the first quotation we send is one you can actually act on
- Your deadline — a move-in date, a wedding, a lease start; we plan the programme backwards from it
Lead times
How long things take.
Measured from the day you approve the drawings and settle the deposit — not from the first conversation. Survey and design usually add one to two weeks before that point.
Installation is scheduled separately and usually takes one to four days depending on scope. We give you a two-day window a week ahead and confirm the morning before.
Commercials
Money, plainly.
Survey and drawings. Free within Greater Accra, including one round of revisions. Outside Greater Accra we charge travel, credited back if you proceed.
Quotation. Itemised, in writing, with the specification attached. It is valid for 30 days and it does not change unless the scope does.
Deposit. Confirms the order and releases the job to the workshop floor. Nothing is cut before it is settled.
Balance. Staged against delivery and installation, with the final portion due at sign-off — after you have walked the finished work with us.
Variations. Anything added mid-build is quoted before it is made. You will never find a change on the final invoice you did not agree to first.
Exact percentages and dates are set out on your quotation. See the terms and conditions for the full detail.
Still deciding
Questions people ask first.
Send a request through the Request a Quote builder, or message us on WhatsApp. We reply with questions or a survey date, and you receive a written, itemised quotation after we have measured. We never quote a bespoke piece from a photograph alone.
Yes, anywhere in Greater Accra. Outside Greater Accra we charge a travel cost, which is credited back against the project if you go ahead.
Initial drawings and one round of revisions are included in the quotation process at no cost. Extensive design work on large fit-outs is quoted separately and credited against the build if you proceed.
You are welcome at the workshop on Emerald Avenue. We can also arrange to show you a completed project nearby, with the client's permission.
