DMI Limited has made fitted furniture and complete interiors from Mile 7, Accra since 2019. We survey, draw, cut, finish and install — all of it, ourselves.
Our story
Three words at the end of a job.
The business is named after the sentence clients kept saying when they showed the room to somebody else. Not a slogan — a fact, and one we had to keep earning.
We started with a single bench, a table saw and a habit that has not changed: measure the room before you promise anything. In the years since, the workshop has grown into a full production floor with a beam saw, an edgebander, a spray booth and a team who have been together long enough to know each other's tolerances.
What has not grown is the number of jobs we run at once. We take on what the floor can hold, because the alternative — subcontracting the overflow and hoping — is exactly how a name like ours stops meaning anything.
Today we work across Greater Accra and, increasingly, the rest of Ghana: private homes, apartments, offices, short-let properties and the occasional hospitality fit-out. Some clients come for one wardrobe. Some hand us the whole floor plan. The process is the same.
We would rather turn a job down than hand it to somebody whose work we have not seen.

How we work
Four rules we do not bend.
None of them are marketing. Each one exists because breaking it, once, cost us a week and a client's patience.

We measure it ourselves
A client-supplied dimension is a starting point, never a cutting list. Our own survey is the only measurement we build from — and it is free anywhere in Greater Accra.

Nothing is subcontracted
The people who draw your job are the people who cut it, and the people who install it work for us. There is no third party to blame and nobody to chase.

The drawing comes before the price
We will not quote a bespoke piece from a photograph. You get scaled elevations and a written specification first, so the number you receive means something.

We come back
Doors settle, humidity moves timber, and a hinge that was perfect in March may need a quarter-turn in September. One adjustment visit inside the first year is included, no argument.
The floor
What happens on Emerald Avenue.
Visitors are welcome. Most clients come once — usually to touch a finish sample or to see a carcase dry-assembled before it is closed up.
- Panel processing — beam saw, ±1mm tolerance, cut lists generated from the approved drawings
- Edging — machine-applied edgebanding, sealed on every exposed face
- Assembly bay — carcases dry-assembled and inspected before finishing
- Spray booth — sprayed lacquer in matte, satin and high gloss
- Solid timber bench — frames, tops, mouldings and hand detailing
- Loading and delivery — protected, labelled and sequenced for the install order
